  1. I am appalled to learn that the best way by which young girls and their children can escape their social and economic conditions is to be denied them. I hope there are voices in Sierra Leone and internationally strong enough and influential enough to repeal this violation of human rights.

    1. Hi Sean- I note your comments on the Amnesty report on the ban on pregnant girls attending school. When we were with the Irish Ambassador Catherine Campbell we discussed this matter. irish Aid and DFiD are contributing significantly to providing ‘bridging education’ for pregnant girls. The is some help but I do not know of the availability of the opportunity around the country.
