Eu 3,350.00 raised for victims of the Freetown mudslide

 

SLIP expresses sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the special funding appeal for the victims of the mudslide which occurred on the 14th August this year.
Almost Eu900.00 was collected among the community of the diaspora in Ireland.
The SLIP steering Committee met on Saturday and  agreed that Eu2,000.00 of the funds be disbursed as follows:
Eu 1,000 to the Fr. John Fellah CSSp for disbursement to a number of families affected by the mudslide  and struggling to pay school fees;

The allocation of the remaining Eu1,350.00will be announced when research on the 3rd organisation being considered, is completed.
